The mission of the U.S. Mint is to serve the American people by manufacturing and distributing circulating, precious metal and collectible coins and national medals, and providing security over assets entrusted to us. Since our institution’s founding in 1792, the Mint has taken great pride in rendering the story of our nation in coins. To hold a coin or medal produced by the Mint is to connect to the founding principles of our nation and the makings of our economy.
Alongside a talented copywriter, our mission was to showcase wonderful minted treasures for the holiday season, helping gift-givers find the perfect piece for their loved-ones and perhaps create a new collector along the way. By keeping this campaign wintery and inviting with watercolor illustrations, we made sure that no matter how you celebrate the gift-giving season, the U.S. Mint has the perfect thing just for you. This campaign included a printed five panel mailer gift guide, various digital banner ads deployed on several platforms, and social media ads. And with all Mint programs, a landing page was created to help consumers shop the holiday guide.
