The Institute for the Humanities at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks to foster an intellectually vital, interdisciplinary community of scholars working at one of the nation’s most exciting urban research centers.

Honored with the task to create a piece that explained the Institute's programming for the year, I wanted to make something different than what they were used to seeing. Using bright pinks, greens, and blues contrasted against an image of their Netsch-designed building, I was able to give them a bright, more welcoming aesthetic. This brochure not only folds out so it can be hung on the wall, but it is also small enough to mail when folded completely.

To pair with this piece, a smaller working group brochure was created that explained each working group's programming in more detail. This not only echoed the same design as the larger brochure, but was also designed to be displayed when unfolded or passed out at events/workshops.
